Title: Augmented Reality-enabled collaborative learning: Situated Learning with Digital and Non-digital Resources
The use of Augmented Reality (AR) has aroused wide interest and attention in educational research and practices in recent years. Yet studies on exploring and establishing theoretical foundations and pedagogical approaches for AR in teaching and learning are still in great demand. In this talk, Dr Wen will share her studies on AR games with the paper interface used in Singapore classrooms for enhancing young learners’ collaborative language learning. Suggestions for future learning environment design and pedagogical strategies of leveraging AR to engage young learners are proposed from the studies.
