Enhancing Learning using Augmented Reality in the Biology Classroom on the Cardiac Cycle
Sharing about how the traditional mode of engagement (use of videos, applets and simulation) has facilitated the TnL in the Human Cardiac Cycle. However students often rely on rote-memorization to achieve understanding which is not an ideal learning outcome. Currently an enhanced AR model on the Cardiac Cycle is being developed with the objective of providing a platform to enhance the efficiency and the effectiveness of the teacher while at the same time and to increase student learning motivation. This enhanced mode of engagement will help teachers to build capacity in the blended learning environment.
